For the first time in 18 months, our manufacturing sector has expanded, and the statistics/ used to measure/ manufacturing output/ is the highest it’s been in over two years.지난 18개월 동안 제조업 지수가 큰 폭으로 상승했으며, 제조업 생산을 측정하는 지표는 지난 2년에 걸쳐 최고치를 기록했습니다.

This means greater production of transportation equipment like cars, and electronic equipment like computers and appliances, and it means these companies are starting to invest more and produce more, and it is a sign that we’re on the path to economic recovery.이러한 경제지표는 자동차 같은 수송장비 분야와 컴퓨터, 가전제품 같은 전자 분야의 생산량이 크게 증가했다는 것을 뜻하며, 관련 회사들이 투자를 확대하고 생산을 늘리기 시작했다는 것을 의미합니다. 또한 우리가 경기회복의 길에 접어들었다는 신호로도 볼 수 있습니다.



There’s no doubt that we have a long way to go, and I and the other members of this administration will not let up until those Americans who are looking for jobs can find them.물론 우리가 가야 할 길이 아직 멀다는 것은 의심할 여지가 없지만, 저를 비롯한 정부는 일자리가 필요한 미국 국민이 일자리를 찾을 때까지 노력을 멈추지 않을 것입니다.
